The rising action of a plot is the series of events that build up and create tension and suspense.

Source & hyperlink: http://homeworktips.about.com/od/writingabookreport/a/risingaction.htm

Rising action is where the conflict starts. My example: While patrolling, the police saw a

thief stealing money in the bank and then he goes to the bank to catch the thief but he was not able to catch him.

2

TURNING POINT

A point at which a decisive change takes place Source & hyperlink:

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/turning+point

In my own words: Point where changes takes place.

My example: Jangmi and Chadol are a happy couple, they then found out that they will going to have their first child, but because of poverty and hardness in living by their own, their relationship come to an end after Jangmi gave birth to the child. He leaves Chadol and Chorong( their child).

3

CLIMAX The climax is the moment of greatest

emotional tension. Source & hyperlink:

Climax is the most interesting part of the story.

The police then put all his strength in able to catch the thief, but when he catches him the thief is not that weak. They fought with each other.

4

FALLING ACTION

The falling action occurs right after the climax. It is what happens after the main problem of the story has been solved.

Source & hyperlink: http://study.com/academy/lesson/falling-action-of-a-story-definition-examples-quiz.html

It is when the problem nearly comes to an end.

My example: The police tried all his best for him to handcuff the thief.

5

RESOLUTION

The ending of the story, the conclusion where everything is resolved

Related Stuff

New concepts learned I have learned tat every story has its own

sequence. Every story has an end so it means that every problem comes to an end.

NEW INPUTS1

This reminds me of… A story wherein someone stole in our

store and my older sister saw it. They resolved the situation by talking to the thief.

CONNECTIONS2

Usefulness in real situations It will be a big help in creating my own

story sample. I can use this later on in my Communication Skills subject.
