in situand in my house

i don’t know which is better but i can convince myself that when in situ you can start to make aesthetic connections. for example, the signage and ‘BREAK GLASS’ points begin to look like the woven patches and the oversized radiator almost looks like the backdrop to the stage which sits below it.

but i don’t know, it wasn’t really site specific work

I tried to make a piece of work for my ex- boyfriend. He was my boyfriend when I began the piece of work but not anymore. When I was in luv the work made a lot of sense and everything was as it was for a reason. I never wrote down any of the reason’s I thought I would remember them now and I don’t. I know it’s got house plants in it, because he liked house plants but didn’t have any windows in his house so they all died, I thought I could nurture them for

him, I live on the fourth floor and have a lot of light. But then he went away and now I am stuck with them and waiting for them to die.

I wanted to be a housewife, I didn’t work for months and grew plants and repaired blankets and drank expensive wine every night. I don’t know why I bothered, I think we hated each other and were just lonely. Not much really changes.
