Completing your A-levels and finishing school is a hugely

exciting yet daunting time. What to do now?

You love riding and dream of either continuing with this

as a hobby or making it into a profession. A one year

Executive PA Diploma course at Oxford Media and

Business School (OMBS) provides you with outstanding

interpersonal, IT and project management skills while simultaneously

allowing time to continue your passion of riding.

These skills open a never-ending list of job opportunities across the country,

as well as the skill set to run your own equine business, helping with

professional communication, book-keeping, invoicing and

business management.

An important part of coming to OMBS is for the student experience.

Oxford has a thriving student scene, the city is full of young people and

buzzing with things to do. There are great bars and clubs which organise

numerous social events, you can even join the Oxford Union and listen to

the incredible speakers they get.

During the year (September-July) you will live with other students, allowing

you to become independent, responsible and above all form some amazing

new friendships.

Imogen: “I chose OMBS over university mainly because the timeframe

of the course was much more in my interest compared with a three-year

university degree. I also knew I wanted to ride professionally and OMBS

offered education that related to running an event yard, learning how best

to manage my books and deal with invoices than the course I would have

chosen to read at uni.”

Sophie: “Completing the Executive PA Diploma at OMBS was the ideal year-long course, enabling me to learn a wide range of invaluable skills in order to develop a successful career alongside riding competitively.”
