SERRATEDWELDED GRATES

The serrated grates are describedby the enlarged friction coefficient.The supporting flats are cut withtooth in order to enlarge the anti-slipprotection.

These grates are applied to coverthe platforms where the safety is endangeredbecause of snow ,ice,greaseand humidity.

The technical specifications(load,weights,

mesh size and supporting flat dimensions)

are the same as for the standard grates.

The Serrated Grates are machined

to different shapes and dimensions

in accordance with the customer wish.

PRESSEDPLATFORM GRATES

Standard largness of the meshfor pressed platform grates

We manufacture these grates by the speciallycut (the tapering cut-outs) of the supporting flatjoined with the transverse flats.The joining process is conducted at the advancedtechnology line.It relies on the pressing of oneflat into the another flat under the heavy thrustpressure(up to 1650 kN per single flat)

In this range the maximum deflection at the500 daN/m continuous load is 1/200 of thesupport spacing.

In this range the grates can accommodatethe 150 daN moving load at any point whilethe maximum deflection is 1/200 of the supportspacing.

The range recommended by the manufacturer.In this range the elastic deflection is no more than1/200 of the support spacing and is less than 4 mmat the 150 daN single moving load at the 200 x 200 mmpressure area at any grates point.

The serrated pressed gratescan be produced in three kinds:Type 1 - the cut - outs made only in thesupporting flats.Type 2 - the cut - outs made only in thejoining flatsType 3 - the cut - outs made only in thesupporting and in the joining flats.

Similarly as the Welded Grates

the Serrated Pressed Grates are applied

to cover the platforms

where the safety is endangered because

of snow, ice, grease, and humidity.

The drawings above presentthe recommended spacing to be preservedwhen designing and laying the gratesfrom the profile edges,and from the poles going through theplatforms,and from the tubing and fromthe walls and siding.The drawings also show what spacingshould be preserved between the grateswhen it will be laying.When designing assume the spacingbetween the grates will be equal to zero.Remember also that the gratses are producedwith the negative tolerance. Preservingthe dimensions recommended aboveensures the proper grates desining and layingover the platforms.

You can use them as the stairs tothe cellar, loft, in magazine, way into the canals and many others, dependingto the customer needs.
