St Iria’s Convent was an old shelter in the XIV century, built
upon a Visigothic Monastery. It was the place where Saint Iria,
the town’s patroness, was martyrized. The chapel, reconstruc-
ted in XVI century, includes a portal and a window from the
Renaissance period, and is located near river Nabão.
