Cabrini Adult Bible Study Join us as we study St. Paul’s le er to the Ephesians. In it you’ll

discover the many remarkable giCs that God has given to the

Church.

Many mes at Mass Catholics hear the Church described as the

body of Christ, as a mystery and so on. We’ll learn why Paul uses

this imagery to describe the nature of the Church. Paul’s le er will

enrich your personal faith life and teach you how to live your daily

lives in Jesus.

Bible Study is from 6:30 pm unl 8:00 pm and will connue

every Monday for 7 weeks unl August 13th

in Holy Family Hall.

2018 Vacation Bible School - Shipwrecked VBS 2018 Shipwrecked was a great success! We shared

God’s love and hope with approximately 100 pre-school to

6th grade kids in the downriver area teaching them about

how Jesus saves them every day. They made fun craCs, ate

yummy snacks, played games and learned Scripture to build

their relaonship in Christ for four days in June leaving the

week with their bible buddies, a t-shirt, new friendships and

a stronger relaonship with Jesus!

The VBS parcipants were able to gather two boxes of

peanut bu er and jelly for the Sr. Judie Ann lunch program

that our Chrisan Service ministry supports as well as deco-

rate plenty of lunch bags sharing a smile, a flower and more

of God’s beauty for those who don’t get to see it everyday of

their lives.

The kids were shown how to see

God in their every day life. They

wrote their ‘God Sighngs’ down

and they patched a broken boat

sail full of holes with their ‘God

Sighngs’, allowing their sail to be

whole again.

Thank you to the wonderful Crew Leaders and Jr. Crew

Leaders that gave their me and talent to lead the kiddos in

their faith. They look up to you as posive role models, so

thank you for sharing your talents for God’s good. A big

thank you to John Cico e, Sueann Demateo and Lisa Hughes

for leading our sessions! Thank you to the Chrisan Women’s

group for helping to support our VBS program this year and

anyone else who donated to the program! Thank you to

Mark Caye who set up our sound system that helped us lead

all the songs. And, finally, a special thank you to you, the par-

ents - your me and commitment to your child’s faith is the

best giC you can give your children.

You can visit the parish Facebook page to see the many

fun photos!

CSA - Youth Ministry - The Archdiocesan Youth Ministry Office is offering the “Passing on the Faith” presentaon for parishes to

host for their parishioners who are parents of school-age children.

“Passing on the Faith” assesses young people and their faith, examines how parents can be er inspire faith in future generaons,

and addresses praccal issues such as how to talk about the Catholic faith and its tradions with children, and model the faith as par-

ents.

Thanks to CSA giCs, the Youth Ministry Office is able to provide presentaons like these to foster the spiritual and personal growth

of archdiocesan youth. For informaon about CSA-funded ministries, programs and services, please go to aod.org.
