Home Inspection Licensure Program(5 credits) Prepare for the Illinois Home Inspection State Licensing Examwith this state-approved course, consisting of classroom, online and in-field instruction with two live home inspections. Topics include the phys-ical components of a home, communication skills, knowledge of profes-sional practices, what may go wrong as well as the cause and implica-tions of problems that result. Participants will receive clear directionconcerning what to look for during an inspection, such as signs of non-performance due to old age, deferred maintenance, weather damage,and poor workmanship.
