“I took the Basic Rider Course at Front Range Community College. I have only ridden on a motorcycle as a passenger and decided I wanted to finally ride myself. This class was awesome! Marsha Hall was our instructor and she was fabulous. Never lost her patience even though I am sure I did many things to try hers!! She was able to coach us very well and really make the experience great. I will definitely be recommending this class to my friends!” ~ FRCC motorcycle student ~

Work with our talented instructors in our FRCC Welding Lab to learn some of the basics and apply your artistic touch. This is an introductory workshop. Any familiarity with tools can be helpful, but no previous experience is required. You will learn basic metallurgy, welding with an oxyacetylene set up, welding with electric arc welders (GMAW, MIG), how to cut metal, and basic forging. You will create artistic projects that will incorporate the methods you learn in this course. Students must provide their own leather boots or shoes and long denim pants for this class. Safety helmet and gloves will be available for students to use during class.
