Blue Valley Recreation ComplexThe complex features 24 irrigated baseball and softball

fields, which offer covered bleachers, restrooms and conces-sions. It hosts youth baseball and softball tournaments rangingin size from 25 to over 150 teams. There is parking for over1,970 vehicles, as well as playgrounds, climbing rocks andmulti-purpose fields for children to enjoy.

Deer Creek Golf ClubThis 18-hole, 72-par course stretches over 6, 811 yards. In

2011 the course won the Kansas City Visitor’s Choice Award

for favorite golf course.

Epic Indoor SportsThis multi-sport facility is 17,000 square feet and home to

the largest indoor soccer field in metro Kansas City. Withseating for 400 spectators, it can be used for indoor soccer,flag football, lacrosse, basketball and volleyball.

Mid-America Sports ComplexMid-America offers 10 lighted softball fields and two multi-

purpose fields for soccer, football, rugby or lacrosse. There isalso a 10-stall batting cage, a pro shop and clubhouse.

Mid-America West Sports Complex There are 12 outdoor youth softball fields and a 56,500-

square-foot indoor facility that houses four basketball courtsthat can be converted into eight volleyball courts.

Overland Park Soccer ComplexThis complex features 12 world-class synthetic turf

soccer fields with lighting and scoreboards. There are alsobasketball and tennis courts as well as a skate park. Forcoaches, parents and tournament organizers it offers 1,100square feet of WiFi-enabled meeting space with in-groundcooling for tournament headquarters and event check-ins. Recently ranked as the No.1 soccer city by livability.com,Overland Park is welcoming back the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championship in 2013 to its Soccer Complex.

Overland Park Convention CenterThe Convention Center offers 237,000 square feet of

indoor space and a 25,000-square- foot outdoor courtyard. It isused for gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, futsal and wrestlingcompetitions along with team banquets and more. The largespace can be converted into a variety of other layouts, such asan exhibition hall, ballroom or seven meeting rooms.

The Athletic ClubThe club features 15 racquetball/handball courts, a full-

size gymnasium with basketball, volleyball and squash courtsas well as an indoor track. Outdoors you’ll find sand volleyballcourts and a swimming pool. Over the years the club hasplayed host to several international tournaments.

The Fieldhouse of Kansas CityThe Fieldhouse features six basketball courts that can be

converted into 8 volleyball courts and offers year-round fit-ness, agility, shooting and general basketball camps for all ages.

Overland Park is a 20-minute drive from Kansas City’s metropolitan area, complete with Kansas City Zoo, Crossroads

GETTING HERE & GETTING AROUND

Overland Park is a day’s drive away for over 60 millionAmericans. Interstate 70, east to west, and 35, north to south,intersect in Kansas City, just a few miles north of OverlandPark. From Chicago, it’s about an eight-hour-and-40-minutedrive to Overland Park, an hour longer from Milwaukee.

St. Louis is a four-hour, 10-minute drive, Indianapolis anotherfour hours. From Albuquerque it’s a 12 ½-drive.

Overland Park is located 35 minutes from the Kansas City

International Airport, which can accommodate 139 aircraftoperations an hour on its three runways. From Salt Lake City

International Airport, the flight time is about 2 ½ hours, from

O’Hare International in Chicago 1 ½ hours, from HartsfieldJackson Atlanta International 2 hours, 20 minutes.
