SOUTHERN HIGHWAYS PROGRAM 2014 - 2018 INTRODUCTION Creating Jobs and Building a Stronger Ontario

In 2014/15, the Ontario government will be investing $2.5 billion to repair and expand provincial highways and bridges. This includes $1.95 billion for Southern Ontario creating or sustaining approximately 19,500 direct and indirect jobs. Improving Ontario's transportation network is part of the government’s plan to strengthen the economy.
