A timeless design using modern materials and electrical interiors that comply with today's safety standards. Theclear bevelled edge design is reminiscent of the 1930's glass switches. We use a 3mm thick bevelled edge frontplate for the switches and dimmers and a 2mm thick bevelled edge front plate for all other accessories.

All fixing screws are concealed, installation notes are included.When flush mounting, single, double and triple period switches will all fitto a single wall box. If preferred, a double box may be used for thedouble switch and a special box (MK863ALM or similar) may be used forthe triple switch. When surface mounting, surface boxes are not required.All switches are rated at 20A.

Cast from solid bronze, all items pass through a series ofhand applied chemical processes to help achieve this naturalpatina with the finish completed with a thin coating ofbeeswax. In time and usage, the original colour of thisproduct will slowly age, giving each piece its own naturaluniqueness.

Periodic wiping with a lightly oiled cloth or a fine pastebeeswax will further help to preserve the look of the product.

Antique pewter

Cast from malleable iron, the natural cast pieces aresubjected to chemical treating and polishing. A coat of clearlacquer is then applied to enhance the final appearance.

Periodic wiping with a lightly oiled cloth will further help topreserve the look of the product.

Suitable for internal and external use in sheltered areas.

Dull black

Cast from malleable iron, a protective undercoat (phosphate)treatment is applied prior to the final coating of Black paint. Atraditional dip paint process is used thereafter, to aid the dullBlack appearance.

Aged Brass

Solid brass, sprung, Lichfield bell pull. Gothic revival style. Available in three finishes – aged brass, blackened brass and aged nickel. Ourblackened brass finish replicates the wrought iron finish, so popular with country properties, but avoids the problems of rust. Ideal for usewith our period internal bell. Each pull comes complete with its own return spring which locates, out of sight, in the wall and ensures thatthe pull returns to its set position each time. All our ranges are designed for ease of fitting to standard wiring. AllBromleighs fittings are designed to meet current standards and aresubject to detailed inspection throughout production. Bromleighs areworld-renowned for their electrical accessories.

Oak products

All our Oak products are carefully selected, hand finished and stained.However we cannot guarantee that colour matches will be consistentbetween previous orders and singular orders where more than one itemhas been ordered. Any slight colour variation is due to the fact that theOak is a natural product with varying degrees of grain structure. Anyexisting product that you are matching with new product may have agedand darkened with time.

We have a small shop/display counter located at the above address. Aswe are predominantly a mail-order company, please telephone first tocheck opening times and stock availability, or if you require directions.

Making A Purchase

We accept credit card payment, from both Visa and Mastercard. You mayprovide your credit card details via phone, fax, ordinary mail, or over theinternet. We do not invoice for any item until it is ready to ship, includingback orders. It is inevitable that occassional mistakes may be made inpricing, or in the case of back orders unforseen price increases or lack ofavailability may occur. In the event of price variations for orderconfirmation, we will always contact you before invoicing to ensure therevised price is acceptable.

Shipping And Handling Shipping charges are £3.50 for orders below£60.00, and £8.50 thereafter for delivery within the U.K. For deliveriesoutside the U.K., please contact us, we will be happy to help.

Delivery Schedule

We endeavour to fulfil your order immediately, however please allow 7 to14 days.

Back Orders

If an item you require is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You willalways be notified and given the option to cancel by e-mail or telephone ifyou would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders placed from the U.K. or elsewhere within the EU, VAT is addedat the current rate. All other orders are VAT free.

Credit Card Security

When an order is placed via our website, credit card numbers areencrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after theyreach our computer and are not held in clear text on any web site.

Claims-Notification of damage or Loss

In the case of alleged shortage or damage you must submit a writtenclaim to us and to the carriers within 3 days of receipt. Claims madeoutside this time limit cannot be entertained. Non-delivery of goods mustbe advised within 7 days of receipt of invoice. In the event of damagedpackages the drivers receipt MUST be endorsed ''Received Damaged'',or the goods should not be accepted. Delivery notes signed 'unexamined'are not sufficient to uphold a claim.

Guarantee

We guarantee your satisfaction. All our products except lighting andspecials carry a 7-day no quibble guarantee. In the event that you are notsatisfied with any of our products, you may return that product, as longas it is in unused condition and in its original packaging, for a refund. Wedo not refund the original carriage charge. Cost of return carriage is alsothe responsibility of the purchaser.

Lighting Returns

Lighting ordered by any client and supplied correctly by the Company willnot normally be accepted for return. In such cases where the Company isin agreement to accept goods to be returned, a restocking charge,subject to the condition of the returned goods, will be deducted at aminimum rate of 30% or £20.00 whichever is the greater. In the event ofany item being returned, the Company reserves the right to repair orreplace the item at their discretion. Special products/colours will not beaccepted for return. All returned goods and shipping charge are theresponsibility of the customer.

Restocking fee

Except lighting (see lighting returns), we reserve the right to charge a 15%restocking fee for any goods returned to us after the 7 day guaranteeperiod.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the longitivity of the product,Bromleighs Ltd will not accept responsibility where the product has beeninstalled in adverse positional, physical, or atmospheric conditions,including and not limited to sea air or industrial pollution. This also appliesto newly finished properties where wall coverings have not fully cured.Bromleighs Ltd advise professional opinion should be sought whereconditions may not be suited, liability resting with that opinion.
