In Portugal the people are very open

when greeting one another. The most common

way is giving a handshake, but only when is

the first time we met that person, or when

we are greeting a very important person like

a president, as an example. In other cases

there are many ways to greet someone. If you

are a teenager there are a very popular way,

who is a modification of the handshake, in

the family is normal people kiss, or hug

each other.

Now the way to talk to other persons.

Portuguese people like their privacy, so,

for small talks we shod avoid ask people

about their ages, weight, money and

politics.
