Once you have clicked Create Digital Album, your album is displayed. The cover shows the name of your set and the composite name. By clicking the tool icon you can choose from one of six different color palettes and two cover textures.

3 If PSA experts have written about the set, it will display on the inside cover. You can also add your own personal set description.

The software recognizes which cards you have in your set and which have images. If you are missing an image, only your card’s grade will display. If you are missing a card, you can use PSA’s Shop feature right from your album to search the Internet to find the card you need.

…..........Below are some tips for taking pristine images for your digital card album. We recommend using a scanner, but taking photos of your cards is just as easy.

ScansDO’s and DON’Ts of Scanning Cards

• DO scan cards at 300 dpi, 100% • DO scan in 24 bit color • DO scan both front and back sides of cards • DO make sure all corners of cards are showing • DO place a black background behind the cards • DON’T sharpen scanned cards • DON’T resize the scan (compression problems) • DON’T adjust color • DO save as high quality JPG files • DO have fun!

PhotosTaking a Great Smart Phone Picture

For those of us that don’t have scanners, taking a picture with your smart phone is a quick and easy way to capture your collection. Follow these steps to ensure you get the

best possible picture:

1. Find an area with good lighting to take your picture. Dark photos will not show the details of your card.2. Use a black cloth behind your card, or choose a neutral color that contrasts with the border of the card.3. Fill the frame with the card and don’t use the zoom function because it adds noise to the photo.4. Remember to turn off your flash, as it will ruin the true colors of the card. Watch out for glare as well.5. Take your photo using the volume button for a steady shot. 6. Take more than one photo, just in case one doesn’t turn out the way that you want.

7. When you post on Twitter, remember to tag @PSAcard!
