Shotley Parish Council
Shotley Parish Council (SPC) is the first tier of local government for Shotley and Shotley Gate, below Babergh District and Suffolk County Councils. SPC is made up of nine unpaid elected councillors. It employs several part time staff to achieve a wide range of responsibilities, to improve your environment and quality of life. This includes play areas, allotments, cleaning public spaces, representing your views to other organisations and getting the best out of developments (eg HMS Ganges and the Bathside bay development). The Shotley Noticeboard has been running for over 16 years and publishes
items of interest for the two villages, details of local events, Parish Council
notes and planning items, contact details for local groups and even letters
from the public!
It is delivered to every household in Shotley & Erwarton six times a year.
Published & delivered by volunteers, it is funded by the advertising that it
carries & the occasional financial input from Shotley Parish Council.
