OFFICIAL PUBLICATIONPUBLIC NOTICE – SALEOF SURPLUS PROPERTYThe Northern KentuckyWater District (NKWD) isaccepting bids for the pur-chase of 2.053 acres of sur-plus property located alongMartha Layne Collins Blvd.in Highland Heights,Campbell County, Kentucky,PIDN: 999-99-32-680.00. Thisproperty is generally unim-proved but contains a base-ball field and was previouslyused for a recreational pur-pose and for a NKWD watertank site (only undergroundremnants of the tank and ap-purtenances remain).NKWD has determined thatthis property is no longernecessary for its operations.Bids submitted must meet orexceed its appraised value of$63,000. In the event of a tiebid, NKWD reserves theright to negotiate with theapplicable bidders that sub-mitted the same bid amount.NKWD reserves the right toreject any and all bids forany reason, and to waiveany error or accept correct-ed bid documents at its solediscretion. Bids must besubmitted in the form of asigned letter or other signeddocument along with a letterof credit or evidence of theability to pay the bid price ina one-time lump sum at clos-ing. As a condition of thepurchase, the successful pur-chaser of this propertyagrees to take title to theproperty subject any otherexisting utility easements onthe property and granting aperpetual easement toNKWD to maintain waterservice pipes located withinthe property. UnusedNKWD infrastructure is bur-ied within the property andwill not be removed byNKWD. Bidder to confirmor verify zoning, roadwayaccess to the property, andany other item related to theproperty; NKWD will notverify any items.
