Last Monday, Mother and Sam went to the supermarket. They wanted to buy

fruits. At the fruit section, Sam chose his favourite crunchy apples. Mother spotted a

bunch of bananas. She looked to see if it was fresh or not. She thought it was. She

paid for all the fruits. They were pleased with the fruits they bought.

A Visit to the Zoo

One Sunday morning, the Ang family visited the zoo. There, they saw

elephants. They were excited to see two children riding on them. They wanted to ride

too but the queue was long. They went to look at other animals, like the

chimpanzees and penguins. When they returned, the queue was shorter. Soon they

were able to ride on the elephants. It was so much fun.

One morning, Enzo and his mother went shopping at a supermarket. They saw many

types of fruits at the fruit section. Enzo picked some apples while Mother was looking

at a bunch of bananas. Mother decided to buy the bananas and the apples. They

walked to the fruit section and saw many types of fruits. Mother spotted a fresh

One Saturday morning, the Chang Family visited the zoo. Once they entered

the zoo, they saw children riding on elephants. The Chang children were excited and

asked their parents,” Can we ride on the elephants too?” Their parents allowed them.

One of the children interrupted,” ... but the queue is too long. Can we look at other

animals first?” Their parents agreed. They saw giraffes, zebras and lions. Then they

went back to queue for the elephant ride. Then one of the children called out, “Look!

the queue is shorter now!” The children rode on the elephants. It was a bumpy ride

but they enjoyed it.

Making My Favourite Sandwich

I made my favourite peanut butter and strawberry sandwich for myself. I took

five steps to make it:

1 Take a slice of white bread

2 Spread peanut butter on it

3 Add strawberry jam on it

4 Place a few M and Ms on it

5 Cover the bread with another slice of bread

My sandwich was ready. It tasted yummy!

My Trip to Hay Dairies Goat Farm

I went to Hay Dairies Goat Farm with my class and teachers. It was a special

place because we saw how goats were milked and fed. First, we saw how special

machines sucked the milk out from the udders of female goats. Next, we saw how

the handlers fed the goats with hay. Lastly, we got a chance to feed the kids, bucks

and does. I had a great time at the farm. I hope to visit it again.

One Saturday morning, the Thong family visited the zoo. At first, they saw two

children riding on elephants. There was a long waiting queue so they went to have a

snack at KFC. After their meal, they went back to see the elephants. The queue was

shorter so they were soon able to ride on the elephants. The elephant ride was

bumpy and a little scary but they enjoyed themselves.

some children riding elephants. The Lee children were excited and asked their

parents, “Can we ride on the elephants too?” Daddy replied, “Of course! but there is

a long queue.” They asked if they could look at other animals and come back later.

Their parents agreed. They walked along the trail to ‘Cat Country’. Here, they saw

more big cats like lions, leopards and pumas. When they got back, the queue was

shorter and soon it was their turn to ride the elephants. They enjoyed the ride. It was

so much fun.
