How is Tech Services supporting the District’s Mission?By maintaining a vision of how Technology will be

used in the District that is consistent with the District’s Mission.

By procuring and deploying Technology that supports the vision and is properly managed to be reliable and secure.

Tech Services MissionWe envision using technology to further the learning

community where Students are proficient using technology and able to

discern when and how to use technology. Teachers use technology to support and enhance

their instruction and provide learning opportunities to meet each student’s unique needs

Administrators use technology effectively to complete required functions and duties, to collaborate with other educators, and to analyze student learning

Support staff use technology effectively in their job and as a tool to support classroom needs and the learning environment

ONLINE TESTING• Online testing had two models.

• Use a Local Caching Server (LCS)• Have students connect straight to the state testing

Web servers.• We choose the LCS for the following reasons.

• Maintain a local store of the testing material• Maintain a local copy of the testing data until

uploaded to the State.• Eliminate all the outside variables during test time.

• Test Application set as a package to be easily installed on any District computer.

• We have set the program to by pass local server and go straight to state if there is an issue with the local server.
