Tenders were invited through advertisement in reputed daily NewsPapers "Hindustan . Times" and "The Tribune" on 13.06.04&12.06.04 respectively, from the manufactures and their accreditedagents/stockiest/dealers for the supply of various lab equipmentsand instruments Wider AICTE sponsored Projects. Copy of theTender notice is placed at annexure- D, page no.20.

Tenders were opened by the college committee, constituted for thispurpose on dt 07.07.04., at 03-00 PM in the presence ofrepresentatives from the tenderers. Copy of specifications of TenderNotice No 1/2004 is placed at annexure- J page no. 139-146.

This item was also tendered in tenderno, 412003(Copy of advt. andcomparative statement is placed at page no 21). At that time threefirms quoted for this item and lowest price offered was of Mls BlueStar Ltd.; New Delhi, but pm-chase of equipment was notmaterialized due to some technical reasons. This time in tender1/2004 only one firm i.e. Mls Blue Star Ltd; New Delhi has quotedfor this item. The rates quoted are same as were offered in tender4/2003.(Annex. F Page no.32-33). Tender bid has been evaluatedby the deptt.. Statement for purchase has been prepared which isavailable at annexure-F. page no. 32-33. Keeping in mind theduration for completion of project, the purchase of equipment Isreconunended for Mls Blue Star Ltd.; New Delhi, whose offer isfound as per NIT and being the only tendrer.

It is added over here that as per college Bye-Laws. in case ofTender there shall be no limit in respect of minimwn no. of offersreceived. Copies of the tender specifications submitted by the firmMls Blue Star Pvt. Ltd.; New Delhi are placed at annexure-F·1 pageno.34-38. •.
