Online applications are invited from eligible candidates (male & female) for the following posts on purely contractual basis for one year (on consolidated salary) in National Tobacco Control Program& National Program for Control of Blindness under State Health Society, Punjab

1. Candidate must be of age between 18 to 38 years. For SC/ST relaxation of age of 5 years

will be given, for Physically handicapped candidate age relaxation for 10 years will be given

& for ex- Serviceman the conditions are as follow:

“For recruitment to any vacancy in the State “Civil Services whether reserved or not under these rule an Ex-Serviceman shall be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of the Union from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for direct appointment to such vacancy in the concerned Service Rules, by more than 3 years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding age limit.”

2. Punjabi passed at matric level is mandatory.

3. Candidates will be considered as per selection criteria & merit wise only in that category for

which they have submitted the application.

4. Reservation policy is as per Punjab Govt. rules.

5. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of selection criteria (related to qualification/

experience etc.) in each category of post

6. The certificate for SC/ST/Backward Classes is as per latest Punjab Govt. guidelines.

7. Candidate must apply in one category only.
