1ST AND 2ND JULY 2015
“Gives academically able year 11 students a chance
to visit the Sixth Form for a taste of what it would be
like to study at here”.
WELCOME
• WHY SIXTH FORM?
• WHY SGS?
I started SGS in Year 7 so I knew the structure of a typical day, the teachers and the ways of learning so I felt comfortable with everything and everyone but more than that, when I joined the Sixth Form I saw how well my peers accepted the external students and how quickly they became part of our SGS family” – Emma, Yr12 internal.
“The school offered the subjects that I wanted to do and I knew a few people that were coming here” – Milli, Yr12 external
I decided on attending Sixth Form because I knew I needed to go somewhere that would allow me to excel in both academic and social surroundings and it seemed the only appropriate place for that – Tom, Yr13 internal“Sixth form was always the path to greater success in my eyes” – Matthew, Yr12 external
