The basic data for the design and thickness calculation are the following ones:

- Filtrating degree - Allowable pressure loss - Filtering surface - Type of cleaning - Flow rate - Pressure - Temperature - Fluid - Materials - Corrosion over thickness - Connections - Space limitations, etc.

At the same time manufacturing is being carried out, a Quality Dossier is being prepared and it will include the following documents:

- Procedures followed - Quality certificates of materials - Welders’ certificate of compliance - Non-destructive trial reports - EC Marking and Compliance Declaration - ASME Data Report - As-Built drawings - Other documents required by the

Customer or the technical or legal regulations.

Design

Quality CertificatesManufacturingManufacturing of filtering equipment and filtration systems is carried out in our facilities in Tabaza, Asturias.

Based on the drawings approved by the customer, our technical department begins the manufacturing process. The customer is invited to be present at any time in any stage of the manufacturing process to check its condition, as well as to attend the final tests required in the specifications or in the design code to be implemented for each case

With reference to the final tests - either the pressure or the operation tests - a certified public body will be responsible for their verification if required by the Customer, Design Code or the EC compliance evaluation procedure.

After manufacturing has been finished, equipment surface is submitted to the relevant treatment and it is prepared for transportation.

In NORTEMECÁNICA we have all the necessary means and resources for the design and manufacturing of filtering equipment and filtration systems.

Based on each customer’s needs and specifications, we make the design of filtering equipment based on the codes to be implemented for each case, i.e. the ASME American code (with optional U stamp), the AD-Merkblatt German code or the EN-13445 European Standard, fulfilling the provisions specified in the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU.
