TRAIL RIDE ~ BIG TREES ~ SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2018 BE READY TO RIDE OUT BY 10:00 AM. This is a beautiful ride from Goat Meadow to the Big Trees where we will have lunch. Bring a lunch and a lead rope and halter. You might want to bring a camera also. We need to ride out at 10:00AM sharp so please allow yourself plenty of time to get ready. DIRECTIONS TO GOAT MEADOW Parking for the ride is at the Goat Meadow Snow Play Area DIRECTIONS: From Mariposa take Highway 49 South to Oakhurst. Turn left on Highway 41 and proceed to Fish Camp. Continue on Highway 41 approximately 2 miles past Fish Camp. Turn right on Mt. Raymond Road and follow it back to the paved parking area at the end. You will really need to watch for Mt. Raymond Road; it will sneak up on you. It is just after the first Yosemite National Park sign (a stone and wood sign). Questions? GOAT MEADOW TRAIL RIDE REPORT

SATURDAY AUGUST 25, 2018

Mariposa Mountain Riders and guests enjoyed a great

ride to Goat Meadow. There were 15 riders on 11

horses and 4 mules. Members riding were Buz,

Chelsea and Owen Arnold; Bryan, Victoria and

Morgan Imrie and Sophia Rudge; Marless Rohrer,

Morgan Tramontin, Heidi Estep, Tina-Perry Buirch

and Guests Debbie Lane and Karen Whitehead.

Thanks to John L. Brown and Jodee Wilson for pre-

riding the trail and leading the group.
