ALUMINIUM RAIN WATER PIPES THAT ARE TAKEN THROUGH THE BUILDING MUST BE INSULATED AND HIDDEN BEHIND THIN CLT WALL TO MAINTAIN CONTINUITYIN THE AESTHETIC EFFECT AND CONTRIBUTE TO THERMAL MASS EFFECT.
WHEN INSTALLING ROCKPANEL BOARDS ONALUMINIUM LOAD-BEARING SECTIONS, FXED POINTS,SLOTTED HOLES AND MOVING POINTS SHOULD BE APPLIED. BY APPLICATIONSOF FXED POINTS AND MOVING POINTS THE FXED POINTS SHOULD BEPRE-DRILLED WITH Ø 5.2 MM, SLOTTED POINTS Ø 5,2 X 8 MM AND THEMOVING POINTS WITH Ø 8 MM. THE SLIDING ATTACHMENT MUST BE DONEWITH A ‘RIVET SPACER’ SO THAT THE ATTACHMENT CAN MOVE EASILY.INSTEAD OF DRILLING FX POINTS AND SLOTTED HOLES ALSO FX-POINT SLEEVESAND SIDE SLEEVES CAN BE USED TO ACHIEVE THE REQUIRED HOLES.CONTACT THE ROCKPANEL GROUP FOR MORE INFORMATION.

THE MEGAGRIP BASE RAIL SHOULD BE PLACED ONTO ITSDESIGNATED POSITION AND THE HOLES MARKED ON THESUBSTRATE FOR DRILLING. ONCE THE SHOE IS LEVEL INSERTTHE FIXINGS AND TIGHTENED UP TO MAKE THE CHANNELRIGID. THE FIXINGS MUST BE TIGHTENED IN ACCORDANCEWITH THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS.M12 COUNTERSUNK BOLTS MUST BE USED.
