MTMD Forum is a maritime multi-national effort focused on: Maritime Integrated Air and Missile Defense

Providing recommendations to improve operational interoperability across international combat systems

Shared development of Capabilities and Limitations for effective coalition war fighting

Shared development of International Interoperability Standards

Forum is identifying specific areas for improving Maritime Integrated Air and Missile Defense interoperability Leveraging existing and planned multi-national engineering efforts and events

Sharing appropriate lessons learned on Allied interoperability with NATO

Providing an interoperable pathway to effectively integrate partner nation capabilities to improve Maritime Integrated Air and Missile Defense mission

performance.

Forum established June 2004 under the Maritime Missile Defense (MMD) Framework Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a focus on Maritime Missile Defense Interoperability
