Scientific method

-The scientific method is a number of steps that we take to solve any problem.

-To understand these steps, let’s first read this story .

Scientific method story

- Cako is a little monkey.- He lives with Anne.- Anne is a young scientist.She spends most of her time in her lab doing experiments.

- One day Anne was in her lab doing an experiment using some nuts.- Cako was with Anne in the lab.He was sleeping trying to get some rest.

- Anne went up stairs to get something for her experiment .- She left Cako sleeping in the lab.

-Cako Woke up and he was very hungry.He said “Ohh,, I’m so hungry ,, I must look for something to eat”.

- Then suddenly he saw some nuts from Anne’s experiment in a long cylinder.- “Mmm, I think Anne wont mind, if I ate these nuts.” he said.

- He tried to get the nuts from the cylinder but he couldn’t.- He asked him self “How can I get these nuts?”

- Then he started to search for informations He told himself “I must find something to use to get the nuts out of the tube without breaking it”-”Anne always uses this book when she is searching for informations,, may be it will help me”

- “Aha,,,, Water makes things float like a boat.”- Cako said:“I Guess water can help me”.

- Okay I’m going to do a small experiment and see if my guess is right” Cako said.

-Then cako climbed a ladder and started to pour some water into the cylinder.

- “ It worked ,, It worked… My experiment worked” “ I can eat the nuts now” he said.

- Cako decided to write down what he found so he won’t forget it.“Now, he has come to conclusion “Water makes the nuts float like a boat” he said.

- Now let’s try to answer some questions together to find out the scientific method steps.

- HE SAW NUTS IN A LONG CYLINDER WHICH HE CAN’T REACH.

-What was the problem that Cako saw when he woke up feeling hungry?

-She decided to do a small experiment and see whether the nuts will come up
