SAP HANA with SAP Investigative Case Management Helping to fight corruption / Fraud in public tenders

Customer situation and challenge

• National European Integrity Agency takes up the fight against fraud in public tenders with the help of SAP ICM, Predictive Analytics and SAP HANA

• SAP Predictive Analytics (SAP II) helps inspectors to score if a public tender is prone for corruption. This risk assessment to focus resource allocation is important, as there might be up to 100 tenders a day and not every tender can be checked.

• Once a tender has been identified for potential fraud, a cheating model – a predictive model on how fraud has occurred in the past) - helps to uncover fraudulent activities.

• Detected fraud will be then further investigated in SAP ICM and brought to prosecution
