All kinds of innovations and ideas that are used for educational purposes. Educational Technology can be processes, strategies, infrastructures, and materials that help us learn better, faster, easier, and more effectively and need not necessarily be a cutting edge tool or a bag full of magic tricks.

High school technology

I first learned English as a foreign language by listening and watching cassette tapes and videos from BBC because there was no native English teachers at my school then. We subsequently had new excitements from computers and emerging of CD-ROM.

College technology

Computers were wildly used in the college, it started with MS-DOS, Window 3.2, Win 95, and Win 98. Moreover, there were scanners, color printers, internet access, digital cameras, and CD writers available in two big computer labs in the college.

A vivid technology learning experience During my brief part-time

job in college, I chanced on the Photoshop program on an idle iMac. Since then, I was thoroughly impressed by the cool aspects of photo editing and am still learning new features everyday.

My vision of the classroom of the future

It will be a place with many stimulating educational aids for experiential learning, drilling, and practicing.

A big touch screen board will be used for interactive communication.

Students will work together in visual worlds like Second Life.

A challenge for teaching

Making a difficult lesson to be easy and understandable.

Serving every student’s need.

Limited of time and resources.

Helping them to learn by themselves and arm them to be ready for a real world.
