WelcomeWelcome to our 2nd Annual St. Louis Summer Swizzle, and a special welcome back to all of those who attended last year’s party! I am celebrating my tenth year of living with Multiple Sclerosis! I’ve learned that it is no way a death sentence, rather a change in my lifestyle...I may have MS, but it doesn’t have me!

Over the last ten years, as my job has taken me to different cities, Team Gillispie has expanded, and, to date, we have raised over $1,000,000! This year we have 18 events in eight states, and I am excited that you are here tonight, when I rededicate my goal, doubling my original commitment, and doing it in half of the time. That means that my team will raise $2,000,000 by this time in 2015 and we are excited to start here in St. Louis with our Summer Swizzle!

Through the last nine years and multiple locations, one thing has remained constant…a group of very dedicated and loving individuals who all have one passion...end this disease! Our team is up to 400+ team members, but we’ve touched the lives of thousands, as we try and do what we can, to offer hope that comes in the way of research, that our efforts help fund.

I think you’ll enjoy our sassy casual format for tonight’s event. Feel free to sample our signature drink, the Sassy Swizzle, and enjoy the tasty foods as you mix and mingle, and don’t forget to bid on the unique silent auction and live auction items. With your help, we can reach our goal to end MS forever. Thank you!
