For the competitor in you, a broad selection of varsity athletics, intramurals and fitness activities are available. You can get in on the action by joining the team, or cheer our teams to victory by enjoying the game from the stands.
SAGU athletes have opportunities to minister as well as compete. Whether hosting summer soccer camps for children, traveling overseas, visiting local nursing homes to spend time with the elderly, or earning the Christian character awards for sportsmanship, SAGU lions are expected to reflect a Christian attitude.

SAGU the red river Athletic Conference Sportsmanship Award for three consecutive years.
• Women’s Basketball advanced to the final four and placed 3rd in the NCCAA National Tournament, 2010.
• Women’s Basketball coach was awarded “Coach of the Year,” 2010.
• Women’s Volleyball finished 4th in conference and advanced to regional Semifinals, 2010.
• Men’s Soccer qualified for regional Tournament, 2010.
