F P ’ This weekend marks the official launch to St. Theresa’s “A Living Sacrifice, Holy and Acceptable to God” campaign – a critical effort to help eliminate our debt, meet our obligation to the arch-diocesan campaign and start a building fund for future growth. Please join us outside the church after all Masses. We will have refreshments and vol-unteers will be available to answer any questions. This week every household will receive in the mail a packet of materials about our campaign. A case statement booklet will be enclosed, along with a letter from me re-questing a pledge to the effort. Over the coming weeks, our team of volunteers will reach out to families to discuss the campaign, answer questions, and seek your support. Due to our limited numbers of volunteers, we may not be able to personally contact every family – but we do hope that all families will choose to participate in this im-portant campaign. This launch also brings up some common questions. Here are a few worth addressing: Question: How did you come up with my request amount? Answer: The amounts are based on several factors, including giving history and an-swers shared in the planning study. Please understand that the request is not a final expectation, but a starting point for you to consider your contribution. Our goal is to challenge everyone to consider supporting St. Theresa’s in a significant, sacrificial way—in a manner that works for each family. Question: Who is being asked to support the campaign? Answer: Every registered church family and all school families will be asked to partici-pate in the campaign. Questions: Why should I/we consider supporting the campaign? Answer: This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible sacrifice for the good of the local church, the good of the parish community, and the good of the individual soul. As Pope St. John Paul II emphasized, “Prayer joined to sacrifice constitutes the most powerful force in human history.” As emphasized last week, this project doesn’t fall on the shoulders of one family or a few. It is the responsibility of everyone at St. Theresa’s to heed the invitation to sup-port this parish and its ministries. The success of this campaign. Sincerely yours in Christ, Rev. Eurel Manzano

PRAYER OF SPOUSES FOR EACH OTHER

Lord Jesus, grant that my spouse and I may have a true and understanding love for each other. Grant that we

may both be filled with faith and trust. Give us the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony. May we always bear with one another’s weaknesses and grow from each oth-er’s strengths. Help us to forgive one another’s failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheer-fullness and the spirit of

placing the well-being of one another ahead of self. May the love that brought us together grow and mature with each

passing year. Bring us both ever closer to You through our love for each other. Let our love grow to perfection, for

You live and reign with the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
