FV432 Mk 2 & 2/1 Digitally reproduced from original Army documents U S E R H A N D B O O K The FV432 was developed as a tracked armoured personnel carrier. It was introduced into the British Army in the 1960s and carried a crew of 2 plus a 10 man infantry section. Many variations of the FV432 which included a command vehicle, a recovery vehicle and an armoured ambulance. In the APC role the main armament was a 7.62mm GPMG. The FV432 was powered by a Rolls-Royce K60 series multi-fuel engine driving a 6 speed automatic gearbox.
