• The Lemos Valley is located in central Galicia, having 300 meter average altitude and aproximate surface of 1000 km2.

• Monforte de Lemos is the main village within the valley.

• River Cabe flows by the Lemos Valley.• It has some natural incredible landscapes.

Our students, learn in the School but they learn more in the Environment in which we live.

• The aim was to recover an old path, 20 Km (12.5 miles) long, along river Cabe in Monforte de Lemos.

• Route is used for the performance of outdoor activities.

• It is the perfect resource for environmental interpretation and it incorporates the component of identify the space that we follow, with special attention to the flora, the fauna, the combined landscape that we observe, and to the effects of the human being's activities in the natural means, cultural features and environmental impacts.

Watermills´ route along river CABE(THE WORKS)- many voluntary young people worked hard to clean the route

– Thanks to our work, the path is being used again by local people during summer to enjoy the landscape.

– As an ecological route, we define stages. The first one is at our Botanical Garden, where students learn about trees and bushes that will find along the path.

– Official opening of the route was made with visit from our Comenius partners at Poland and Italy, during Saint Mathew´s festival.

Many students enjoyed walking this route and learning their nature with our didactic

unit

– We was elaborating a DIDACTIC UNIT about the walking path arround River Cabe in Lemos Valley.

– We put the walking route for every body in internet: “Ruta-Molinos”

– The 21 Setember “Saint Mathew´s festival” 300 people went by this route. (TV document in Galician language, about it):

This MOBILITY project, will be communicated at Dubai congress, on Dec, 2006.

• European commission, Nacional Agency Socrates.

• The Council of Monforte. • The newspaper, La Voz de Galicia with
