Manager’s NotesStop In and Say “HI”
We are sure many of you already know but we have a new
face in the office. Dave Daniel, the new Assistant Manager,
shares our visions and will assist us in our ongoing
improvements to the park. Dave will be working to continue
the updates we have been making in the common areas as
well as overseeing that resident lots are maintained to the
standards as set forth in the Rules and Regulations of the
park. Dave comes to us with an extensive background in
landscaping (having owned his own business) as well as a
background in real estate. So the next time you are near the
office, we encourage you to stop in and say “hi” to Dave
and warmly welcome him in his new position.
New Exercise Room
We are excited to report the completion of the new exercise
room. We invite you to come and check out the new finishes
and new exercise equipment. We appreciate your
understanding and patience during this project.
Billiards and Library
The billiards and library are scheduled to be reopened the
early part of November. Again, we thank you for your
understanding and patience throughout this remodel.
“Visitors” in the Park
We have received reports that Javelina are visiting the park
again. Please remember to always accompany your pets and
have them on a leash when outside of your home. We also
ask that you not leave food and water outside your home as
this attracts feral cats and wild animals to the park.
Additionally, feral cats and wild animals will seek shelter
under mobile homes if skirting hatches aren't properly
closed. Thus, be sure to check the skirting around your
home and cover any entry hatches to keep wildlife from
dwelling beneath your home.
Yard Contest
As a reminder, the next section of the park that we will be
looking at will comprise part of the south section beginning
with lot 14 through lot 29 and lot 102 through lot 147. The
judging for this area will take place during the month of
December and the winner will be announced in January.

Resident Pool
As a reminder, we are scheduled to drain the resident pool the
latter part of November for maintenance. The family pool will
remain open during this time for your use. We appreciate your
understanding during this time.
Now that fall is in the air, how nice it is to enjoy brisk, cool
mornings and evenings after experiencing the long hot
summer. As you go about the park, why not strike up a
conversation with neighbors you've never had the chance to
meet and possibly discover new friendships to enrich your
life.
Remember, your Rincon experience is what you make it.

We would like to invite all to share in the fun or just

at the door! Ha! Ha!

crafting demonstrations please contact The Owl's
Nester's!

There are concerns in this community regarding the Budget
programs that are provided by the utilities companies, and this
is being handled by 3411. Many of you may not be aware that
these utilities companies also have DISCOUNT programs for
those who qualify, usually by reason of low income. These
programs are referred to as "LIFELINE" for electricity discounts
and 'LIRA" for discounts from South West Gas. You may obtain
application forms by contacting the utility company directly.

PHOTO GUIDELINESIndividual residents or couples preferably in your twenties. Photos that are in focus and without dark shadows reproduce best. The bigger the picture, the better! Photos of yourself doing something (sports, playing an instrument, working, driving a tractor, in uniform, etc) lend interest but is not necessary. Please bring your color or black & white picture to the office for scanning (to be returned unharmed). Include your name, phone number, lot number, a brief description, and approximate year of photo.
TO EXERCISE OR NOT TO EXERCISE THAT IS THE QUESTION
By Shirley Pilster Daniel
We have many options in our park and I want to encourage all to take advantage
of them if you are able. The healthier we are the better our lives will be to the end (which
is coming to us all).
Lots of things are going on which are free. We have (soon) the re-opening of a new
updated and enlarged exercise room with easy to use equipment. There is a walking
treadmill out by the pool area and also walks around the park streets; our beautiful pool to
enjoy any time (hours posted) and there are ongoing water aerobics groups with CD
Tu/Th/Sat at 9:30 this changes as the weather cools.) We have water volley ball in the early
afternoons; folks riding bikes around the park; and hikers. Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30
there is a group doing Yoga using a video.
For a very small donation we have a few other offerings led by instructors. Monday and
Wednesday mornings Marcie is still doing her classes; Tuesday and Thursday 8 am we
have Tai Chi and breathing exercises with Mike.
In closing I would like to quote from the July GUIDEPOST article called “A will to live” by
and about Bryan Anderson, a vet who lost his 2 legs and one hand but not his spirit. He
ends the article with this: “I take nothing for granted. No part of my body, mind or soul
goes unused. I am a unique fit for the life God has given me. And that's what I tell
wounded vets when I meet them. Their injuries, I say, are not catastrophes. They are
challenges to be overcome. And there is massive fulfillment in overcoming. We don't get to
dictate to God what kind of life we get. We do get to decide how to live that life. I still
remember that moment in the hospital when Mom asked me what I planned to do - roll
over and die or move on. In a way, it's a question everyone faces at some point in their
lives. Sometimes people have to ask themselves that question every day. Now you know
why my answer is move on, move up, keep going. What happens to you is not an accident,
not a cruel twist of fate. It's the life God intended for you to live. Live it. And if you're
anything like me, you'll live it at top speed.”

3411 Homeowners AssociationNotes & Upcoming Events
November is the month we present the slate of nominees
for officers for the upcoming year. Elections will be held
at the December Meeting. Many things have been
accomplished this year and I take great pleasure in
thanking the current year officers and committee
members. They have all done a great job. This is the time
of year when we like to see new participants on our
Board and on our committees. I know there are people in
12 9
our neighborhood who really do want to participate and do
great things to make our living space happier and healthier.
Come to our meetings and programs and enjoy yourself.
Upcoming Programs:
November – Community Food Bank
December – ClearCaptions (free caption phone for
the hard of hearing)
For January, I took the liberty of scheduling a fun program
to start off the New Year for the incoming President
whoever he/she may be. The Tucson Musical Canine
Freestyle Club will have their "Dancing Dogs" perform for
us. No, you won't be able to bring your pets to watch.
I sincerely hope both our monthly programs and
community services are helpful for the health and welfare
of our residents. The business meeting only takes about a
half hour and the program that follows usually lasts less
than an hour.
Judy Cameron, President
A.A.M.H.O.Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel the
A.A.M.H.O. meeting in September, and by the time the
Rincon Views is put to bed in October for November we
will have had our next meeting on Monday, 31st October.
The plan is to hold the A.A.M.H.O. meetings on the 4th
Monday of each month, so our next meeting will be held on
Monday, 28th November at 6.30pm in the Community
Clubhouse. As many of you know, the Arizona Landlord
and Tenant Law requires that not only Tenants but the
Managers of a Mobile Home Community, are fully aware of
how this law affects all of us. For several years now,
A.A.M.H.O. has conducted training sessions for both
tenants and managers to become familiar with these laws.
The training sessions conducted by the Owners Association
have only been open to Managers and Owners of Mobile
Home Communities. So it is important for the residents of
communities such as ours to take advantage of the training
made available by A.A.M.H.O. The next training session
will be held on Saturday, 12th November, 2016 at Tucson
Meadows Mobile Home Park, 2121 S Pantano Road,
Tucson. It is located between Golf Links and 22nd. The
meeting will start at 10.00am and finish by 12.30pm. We
encourage all residents of Rincon Country M.H.P. to join
us at our monthly meetings and also to attend the training
session on Saturday, 12th November. Any questions please
call me : Babs Thompson, 733-7324.

Do you remember the show QUEEN FOR A DAY? Family, friends and
neighbors nominated women to be Queen for a Day and then they celebrated
her. Well would like to propose QUEEN FOR A MONTH IN RINCON COUNTRY
MHP….and my husband Dave and I nominate Peggy Baer for this month.
I am sure most of you know her. She is a bright energetic light and friendly to all. She is a
loving wife, mom, daughter, great friend, nurse and neighbor to all. But you probably know her in our park as
PEGGY'S BISTRO. She heads up the free/donation meals we have in the park twice a month at noon (previously
known as SOS and… other names over the years) but since Peggy has stepped up we have had lots of delicious
meals at very low cost (she has been making budget as it is paid for by donations and the park) and has led a great
team of men and women who help prepare the food, cook, serve, set up and clean up. She is also a great leader in
the committee she chairs on 3411 called HELP YOUR NEIGHBOR. She walks our neighborhood and notices places
that need 'help' so as to make our park more beautiful. Then she follows up (and takes calls too) and takes another
team of men and women out to clean up. She is also an active member and participant in many things in the park
including exercise, cards, Maj Jongg, etc. Add to this she is a very caring, helping nurse who shares her talents
freely and willingly with so many.
I celebrate and thank you dear Peggy for all you are and what you do and share so freely with all of us…be blessed
this day and always. So when you see her give her a big hug, a high five, or just a thank you. We are blessed to have
you here. Thank you!!!!
