Richardson staff, students, and parents welcome Mr. Arthur Gallardo as
the interim Principal. Dr. Natalie Raymundo was recently moved to Pa-
cific High School as their new Principal. Mr. Gallardo is a recently re-
tired elementary school principal who brings a wealth of experience
from the San Bernardino School District to RPH. Mr. Gallardo is im-
pressed with the Tiger experience, Tiger spirit, and the professional atti-
tude displayed by both the students and the staff. Mr. Gallardo runs
marathons for enjoyment, fitness, and fun. Mr. Gallardo also brought
15 educators from China on campus during his stay at Richardson. At
the moment, the school district has not hired a full time Principal for

Helping Middle School Students Learn
State testing will be here soon. Here are some suggestions from Great Schools to help your middle school student be a
positive learner:
1. Help your child develop a system to keep track of important papers. Create a system to stay organized. Color coding,
organizing and using dividers, Tiger folders are just a few examples to keep track of important papers.
2. Help your child break big projects into smaller projects. A big research project will seem less overwhelming and will
be less likely to be left until the last minute if it’s done in manageable chunks, each with its own deadline.
3. Communicate with your child’s teachers. If your child is struggling with organizational skills, talk to the counselor or
teachers about what might be causing the problems and brainstorm approaches to solve them.
4. Studying for tests. Studying for tests is a skill. Parents can help their children manage their time and attention—which
means turning off the cell phone, the TV and the iPod.
