ID BADGE & HOLDER During registration check-in, you will be issued a conference ID badge with any Operation SOFtalk tickets you have purchased, as well as a colored badge holder.

Badge holders will only be available for pick-up onsite and must be worn at all 2017 SOFIC functions. To gain access to the events for which you have registered, you must show your issued ID badge in the badge holder. Please be prepared to present a valid picture ID.

PLEASE NOTE: No personal fi rearms or ammunition will be permitted at 2017 SOFIC. The only fi rearms allowed in the Tampa Convention Center during the event must belong to Law Enforcement Offi cers or be on display by exhibi-tors whose fi ring pins have been removed and have been inspected. All bags are subject to random search.

MEDIA INFORMATION Media identifi cation name badges will be available for pick up on the mezzanine level. Please be prepared to present a valid picture ID and media credentials. The 2017 SOFIC Media Guidelines must be re-viewed and followed in order to obtain a media badge holder and be allowed admittance to the conference and exhibit hall. SOF AT&L will present the basic construct of a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) and the process for entering into a CRADA with USSOCOM. An interactive discussion will follow the presentation. It will include the value of entering into the agreement and the criteria SOF AT&L uses in determining if it is the right tool for the Industry-proposed work and what Industry can do to improve the CRADA tool and process.

SOF AT&L Contracting Officers and Program Managers will conduct roundtable exchanges with attendees on the different communication mediums (e.g., FedBizOpps, Industry Days) used to forecast or discuss new requirements during the formal source selection process. The intent of these exchanges is to provide Industry partners with insight on the left and right limits of Government communication during the acquisition process and to gain insight from Industry on areas where SOF AT&L can improve in its communication.
