RESIZING AN IMAGE IN PHOTOSHOP FOR GOOGLE DOCS
With your image open in Photoshop go to Image > Image Size.
Note: Your image dialog box will not look exactly like the screen shot because it was taken in CS7. Follow the arrow directions and you will get the same results.
1. Uncheck resample image. 2. Change your resolution to 72 dpi.

1. Check resample image. 2. Change your width to 6 inches. 3. Click OK
Go to Image > Save As.
Name your image, but DO NOT type jpg after the file name.
Select JPEG from the drop down menu.
Change quality to 6 and press OK.
NOTES
If you still have trouble adding your file to a Google Doc it may still be too big. The maximum file size is 2 MB.
ONLY use this procedure for editing Google Doc images. DO NOT do this for your final projects that you submit through Dropbox.
YOU ARE FINISHED! Add your image to your Google Doc.
