The latest event in the campaign –the Spring AuctionFest – will kick offtomorrow at the Retro Chef FunctionCentre in Bibra Lake. Another will beheld on October 28 at the TradewindsHotel, East Fremantle.

LJ Hooker Kardinya auctioneer RyanThompson said the company’s officehad experienced a flood of vendorinquiries for the spring campaign.

“Spring represents the ideal time toshowcase your property and its latearrival this year means you still have

plenty of time to sell while the flowersare blooming and gardens are lookingtheir best,” he said.

Mr Thompson said the major benefitof an in-house auction is that it

provides buyers with access to severalproperties in one location.

“They don’t need to travel fromhouse to house if they want to bid onmore than one property,” he said.

For sellers, auctions create a senseof urgency. They tend to attract buyerswho are genuine, often resulting in aquicker sale at a great price.

“It is also a transparent processwhere buyers can see the offers madeby other potential buyers and canincrease their own offer if they want,”Mr Thompson said.

“The variety of properties I’veauctioned this year has beenphenomenal. I’ve had just as muchsuccess auctioning million dollar homesas I have first-home buyer gems.”
