Harold Mueller, former state representative Harold
Fredrick ~ueller, 92, of Mason CitY, formerly of Manly, died Thursday, September 3, 1998, at his home in Mason City.
Funeral services were held Thesday, September 8, ai the Bethel United Methodist Church in Manly, with Reverend Robert Cumings officiating. Burial will be in the Manly Cemetery. The Biide Colonial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
He was born on July 6, 1906, in Lincoln Township in Worth County,
to a farm south west of Manly and farmed until his retirement.
Harold helped set up the original farm program for Worth County in 1934, and continued working and serving on the A.S.C. committee until.l954. Iri 1958, Harold was elected Worth County State Representative and served Worth and Winnebago Counties until 1965. He also served as county treasure to fill out a part
' term. Harold served on the Worth
County fair board as tre~surer for many years, and was a long time member of the Worth County Coop Oil Company. His also was a board member of the. Manly State Bank, and treasurer of the St. Paul's Church in Manly for many years.
