Tonto Rim Sports Club Coronavirus Reopening Guidelines for Disciplines
Jim Jones Shooting Range, Payson, AZ
The COVID-19 has made many changes to our lives. With the various daily changes to guidelines,
changes in our normal activities are required. The Tonto Rim Sports Club Board of Directors has
been working on what is best for the Jim Jones Shooting Range. The KEY items that continue to be
in the forefront are maintaining Physical Distancing as outlined in the Virus guidelines and
Sanitation protocols.
The following are the minimum guidelines for all matches conducted at the Jim Jones Shooting
Range. Use of these and the normal safety guidelines will allow us to open the Range to the
disciplines on June 1, 2020.
Guidelines to open the disciplines specifically:
1. All members and guests must maintain physical distancing as outlined in Virus guidelines;
minimum 6 foot separation and be mindful of wiping down high-touch surfaces.
2. All participants in the matches must sign and date the hold harmless contract i.e. the normal
sign-in sheet.
3. The maximum number of participants will be limited to 40 to include the Safety Officer and
the Scorekeeper. Four squads of 10, 4 bays, NO WALK ONS.
4. Pre-match registration for a total of 40 participants will minimize group contact and help in
group planning.
5. All squads will remain in their bay and move together. No wandering into another berm near
the end of your current stage.
6. Each squad will have a dedicated timer and RSO. Tablets, scoring pads etc., must be sanitized
when transferred between participants.
7. Sanitation requirements are the responsibility of the discipline leader. All items must be sani-
tized after use by the disciplines. Tablets, chairs and hard surfaces which were touched by any
discipline participant must be sanitized.
8. Restrooms will be sanitized by TRSC/Quality Pumping.
