BRIEF: M&C Saatchi approached Remarkable to deliver their
worldwide meeting taking place in Dubai. A gathering of
M&C Saatchi’s global leadership team, from locations
around the world, the event was to take place across three
days and five venues.
ACTIVITY: M&C Saatchi approached Remarkable two weeks
prior, with a clear brief to deliver a memorable event in-
keeping with their brand guidelines, of clear, uncluttered
“Brutal Simplicity of Thought.” They were also keen to be
kept informed at all stages of the project. Remarkable
operates with complete transparency and provides open and
continual communication with our clients throughout, so this
was something we brought to the project, as standard.
RESULTS: Remarkable took charge of all logistical elements
across all venues, working with the local M&C Saatchi team
to design and deliver a unique stage, AV and branding set
up at each location. Playing to M&C Saatchi’s DXB theme,
we helped showcase Dubai’s culture and the juxtaposition
between the city’s traditional roots and innovative future.

PURPOSE: Exhibition staffing
BRIEF: Etisalat were looking to showcase their vision for a
connected/smart city.
ACTIVITY: The stand comprised of 17 areas, each themed to
bring to represent different facets of connected living. Three
Supervisors, six VIP Hostesses, 38 Promoters & six Character
Actors supported the largest stand at GITEX Technology 2016.
Supervisors ensured management and motivation on the
ground. Promoters were required to demo products/services and
engage with visitors. VIP Hostesses greeted guests and
managed the VIP area. Character actors operated and voiced
four robots on the stand, actively engaging with visitors.
RESULT: Etisalat had the largest stand at GITEX and maintained
a constant flow of footfall throughout the exhibition. Customers
were introduced to Etisalat’s products and vision for the future,
via informed and engaging staff.

BRIEF: Create a gala dinner for Etihad Airways, to thank online
travel agent clients for their continued business with Amadeus.
ACTIVITY: Remarkable had 14 days to design the concept and
deliver a gala dinner to wow 400 guests. We created a
Bollywood-inspired theme and secured MTV Award-winning
band, ROOH, plus DJ Jeff (famous within the Indian community)
to entertain the guests. We created Indian street food stations,
and a “BollyBooth” social media photo experience.
RESULT: Amadeus surveyed the guests post-event and the event
received the highest rating of any event previously conducted by
the company. Guests gave a 96% “extremely satisfied” rating,
with the remaining 4%, ”very satisfied.”
REMARKABLE MOMENT: One of Amadeus’s biggest clients
thanking us for taking him to India for the evening and making
him feel like an A-list Bollywood star.

BRIEF: Dubai’s Real Mums Group approached Remarkable regarding a
very special project, “Fight Like A Girl,” helping to promote Breast Cancer
Awareness.
ACTIVITY: A cause close to our hearts, Remarkable took on the project
pro-bono, contacting all of our suppliers and partners to source products
and services free of charge.
Taking place at Casa Havana Beauty Spa in Dubai’s Jumeirah district, this
ladies-only event encouraged cancer survivors, supporters, Mums and
Daughters to join together to raise awareness and funds toward cancer
research. Guests were treated to manicures, pedicures and a host of
beauty treatments, as well as delicious food and refreshments.
RESULT: Remarkable and our partners provided a photo booth, pink
ribbon balloon arch, children’s corner and event management support to
the Real Mums of Dubai team.

VENUE: DIFCCAMPAIGN: Sheraton Delights
PURPOSE: Brand activation
BRIEF: Sheraton were keen to create an experiential brand
activation around their Sheraton Delights concept.
ACTIVITY: Built awareness and encouraged participation in
the Sheraton Delights campaign at the Dubai International
Financial Centre activation stand. Visitors were
encouraged to participate in Sheraton’s vending machine
quiz whereby they were guaranteed a prize and had the
chance to move to the departure board to win a grand
prize. As part of the campaign, actors were utilised to
surprise businessmen and women in their work place.
RESULTS: Sheraton were delighted with the results, with
hundreds of participants interacting with the vending
machine over the course of the campaign. Footage of the
campaign was utilised as part of a viral video to expand
the reach via digital media.

VENUE: Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Sports ComplexCAMPAIGN: Discovery SportPURPOSE: Launch Campaign
BRIEF: For the launch of their new Discovery Sport
model, Land Rover wanted to create a visual spectacle,
to delight their audience and excite customers across the
region.
ACTIVITY: Taking place at the Sheikh Hamdan Bin
Mohammed Sports Complex, we set about creating a
bespoke stage show to highlight the capabilities of the
new Discovery Sport. From hydraulic staging and vertical
assents, to differing terrain simulations, we created three
distinct performances, featuring BMX bikers, Parkour
athletes and Arabic Ayala dancers & drummers. The
audience of key media, press and influencer contacts
were then invited on stage to interact with the vehicle.
RESULTS: Land Rover received extensive media, press
and social coverage following the launch. The marketing
team were delighted with the Dubai results and
subsequently recreated the event at Abu Dhabi Yas Links
Golf Club with Fire Dancers and Ayallah Drummers.

VENUE: Dubai Design District (D3) CAMPAIGN: ISAWITFIRST Fashion ForwardPURPOSE: Official .ME website launch and new collection preview
BRIEF: For the official launch of their .ME website,
fledgling fashion brand, ISAWITFIRST, wanted to create
maximum impact at the UAE’s leading fashion event,
Fashion Forward, to showcase their latest collection and
interact with their customers face-to-face.
ACTIVITY: In order to bring the online brand to life in a
real environment, Remarkable created a pop-up
activation that appealed to the UAE’s selfie-obsessed
Fashionista. By installing an immersive branding area,
complete with state-of-the-art Boomerang Booth, visitors
were invited to try on the clothes, pose for shots and post
videos to Instagram using the #ISAWITFIRSTxFFWD
hashtag. Daily prizes of AED 1,000 were given to one
lucky winner, with every visitor receiving a branded
beach bag full of goodies, plus a money off voucher to
spend on ISAWITFIRST.ME.
RESULTS: Over the course of three
days, ISAWITFIRST’s Fashion Forward
pop-up was a thriving hub of social
content, attracting bloggers, vloggers
and influencers, plus new and
existing customers.

BRIEF: Create buzz around SMAAT’s UAE launch, by creating a series
of thought leadership events, targeted at Dubai’s top marketers,
across key vertical sectors.
ACTIVITY: Remarkable transformed a pre-fit out space in Dubai
Design District (D3) from an empty concrete shell, to a thriving hub of
content. Based on an industrial theme, Remarkable designed,
sourced and delivered a concept built around the fusion of raw
materials and technology. We created three distinct areas within the
space; a content stage, networking lounge and lunch buffet.
RESULT: SMAAT’s leadership team were so impressed with the
launch, that they secured Remarkable to deliver the next four events
in the series.
REMARKABLE MOMENT: D3 sent their marketing team to cover the
event for their social media and website, using it as a case study
example, as they were so impressed with the transformation from
empty shell, to full event fit out.

BRIEF: NAWAH came to Remarkable having been let down by
their existing events company. We were tasked with producing an
ENARA Leadership Awards dinner in seven days, in a Nuclear
Power Plant, a seven hour round trip from Dubai.
ACTIVITY: The logistics of this event were some of the most
difficult we’ve ever faced. As a government-run, Nuclear power
plant, the security clearance process is one of the strictest in the
UAE. Remarkable had to physically gather passports, visas and
Emirates IDs from 18 staff members (from five suppliers) within
less than 24 hours and personally deliver them to Barakah for
approval. Then there was the logistics. Three round trips over
seven days. Transportation fees alone almost crippled the event,
but by pulling in favours from suppliers and driving one the
delivery vehicles ourselves, we delivered.
RESULT: Remarkable created an atmospheric, outdoor awards
dinner to celebrate the UAE’s leaders in Nuclear Energy. The
head of ENARA thanked the Remarkable team for creating one of
the best events they’d ever hosted.

against all the odds. Remarkable delivered on time, on budget,
and with smiles on our faces.

BRIEF: Government of Dubai came to Remarkable looking to
create a very special National Day celebration for the Ministry of
Human Resources & Emiratisation. They wanted the event to be
100% focused on Emirati tradition.
ACTIVITY: Remarkable set about researching all aspects of UAE
culture and transformed the Ministry’s compound in Al Qusais
into a traditional souq, complete with basket weavers, live
cooking stations, henna, calligraphy and Arabic catering.
Remarkable sourced falcon handlers, Ayallah dancers and
children from a local school to perform for guests.
RESULT: Government of Dubai were delighted with the event set
up and management, naming it the most successful National Day
celebration they had hosted in the Ministry’s history.
Subsequently, Remarkable was re-employed to produce
Government of Dubai’s National Sports Day event.

BRIEF: Create maximum impact for Videology at Europe’s leading
media and marketing conference, DMEXCO. Cut through the clutter
from over 800 exhibitors and 470 international speakers.
ACTIVITY: DMEXCO is known for two things, content and networking.
For Videology’s activation, we designed and built an exhibition stand
that worked on numerous levels. Meeting space is at a premium, so
we built three meeting rooms, plus a boardroom. Ahead of
DMEXCO, we developed content partnerships with numerous media
outlets and clients, to ensure Videology was seen as a leading, global
thought leader. From panels, fire side chats, video interviews,
keynote presentations and research launches, the Videology stand
was a thriving hub of content. We also secured top level speaker
opportunities for Videology’s global C-level team within the official
DMEXCO conference agenda.
RESULT: Over the two days, we conducted 97 meetings with global
partners, clients and prospects. We shot 28 thought leadership
videos, conducted 6 keynotes, 4 panel discussions and 4 fireside
chats with some of the industry’s top people, creating months of
content for Videology’s website and social channels, positioning the
brand and team as leaders in the eyes of clients and prospects.
