Wikipedia• A web application that allows collaborative modification,
extension, or deletion of its content and structure.
• it is a type of content management system, that differs from blogs.
• has no define owners or leaders. anyone can post, write or edit.
Pages / Websites
• A collection of web pages (documents that are accessed through the Internet)
• Contain any type of information (text, color, graphics, animation, sound) for educational purposes.
• e.g. Coursera, SlideShare, IIUM Library portal, E-Learning, iTaleem, Educational YouTubes, blogs/sites (Edublogs, online quizzes, exercises, notes, forums).
Google Scholar
• A simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature.
• Can search across disciplines and sources (journals, bibliography, articles, theses, books, abstracts, court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities, etc.)
