Last Friday our school played our part in commemorating

the 100th anniversary of the ANZAC landing in Gallipoli.

We came together to remember those brave soldiers that fought

for our country, particularly focussing on World War 1.

Our School Captains, Joel and Jorja, spoke beautifully on behalf

of our school. The poppy wall was fantastic, as was the singing

of our Grade 3&4 students. The service was concluded

by the playing of the Last Post by Donald Mayne.

As if organised for the day, we heard magpies warbling during

the bugling, concluding a truly memorable event.

By 5/6W

Joel and Jorja place their

poppies on our wall. A large and very

respectful gathering

in our assembly area.
