This school for Kindergarten through Gtade 12 was originally built in Kinuso in 1957. Additions were built in 1958, 1960,1965 and 1985. Modernization was done in 1987 for 1957 original building, 1958 addition and 1960 addition. This schoolfaces three streets (east, west and north). The 1957 original building has metal siding and stucco. The 1958 addition has metal siding and stucco. The 1960 addition has metal siding and stucco. Ventilation have not been provided in the 1965 section. The HVAC equipment in the 1965 section havesurpassed Theoretical Life Expectancy. The building mechanical systems meets minimum requirements due to heatingand ventilation issues in the 1965 section. Overall mechanical system rating is fair.
Electrical Summary:The school has been provided with a 400 Amp, 120/208V, 3 phase, 4 wire service as obtained from a pole mountedtransformer located north of the school on the street, and routed underground from an intermediate pole. AWestinghouse main distribution centre is provided to distribute power within the school. The switchboard is past its lifecycle expectancy. Branch circuit breaker panel boards have been located throughout the school. A Square "D" motorcontrol centre has been is provided for control of mechanical systems motors. Interior lighting is of the fluorescent type,utilizing T12 technology. Exterior lighting is provided by wall mounted high pressure sodium fixtures. Emergencylighting is provided by battery packs and remote heads located throughout the school to illuminate paths of egress. Exitlights have been retrofitted with LED kits. Fire alarm system is of the hard wired type, and is the product of Simplex200. A Bogen Multicom call system has been provided with a TOA amplifier interfaced to it. Cat 5e data network cablinghas been installed throughout the school. Overall, the electrical systems are in a marginal to an acceptable condition.

It iscomplete with a 400A main breaker and distribution section with feeder breakers. Feeder breakers feed branch circuitbreaker panels located throughout the school. Surge suppression system has been provided at the mains. Main distributioncentre is of the old style and well past its life cycle expectancy. The centre is almost full to capacity with space for only onemore breaker.
(1964 to 1985) Branch circuit panelboards have been provided throughout the school. All panels are of the newer style. Inthe original building, new panels were provided during the 1985 modernization. The computer labs have been provided withdedicated breaker panels that supply power to the outlets in the computer labs only. These panels have also been providedwith surge protection.
(1985) A motor control centre has been provided in the mechanical room. It is the product of Square "D" and is of currentmanufacture. The motor control has 2 spaces available for future starters.
