Supported through the Heritage Lottery Fund, REWIND is an exciting new archive film project in Herefordshire and Shropshire. A collaboration between Flicks in the Sticks and the Huntley Film Archives will bring unseen documentary film footage from the 20th century to new audiences, and connect rural communities through history.

Thirteen volunteers have been trained as film archivists and have catalogued hitherto unviewed footage from the Huntley Film Archives. Some of this film will be screened at venues in the two counties from February to March 2011 with input from local community groups. A further selection of the very best archive material from the project will be made available on DVD with voice-over narration and will be screened more widely.
