Induction Course for 1st
Year Students at our Institute
The development of any nation depends on the development of students. Holistic development of students is
a dire need of the moment. Before commencement of semester I of BE, new entrants have to go through
Induction Program as per new pattern adopted by GTU. It is a three-week (15 days) induction program to
enable them to adjust with the environment of the college, education pattern, and new people around them.
The program consists of 3 phases. The Phase I(1 day) started on 19/7/2018. We have arranged orientation
program on that day. All students were welcomed by the concerned Department. The students were oriented
regarding the education system, study patterns, head of the department, its faculties, institution and its
amenities like hostel, library, surroundings, campus etc. The students were provided some common rules,
useful website links etc. The senior students helped the new entrants visit various blocks of the institute. The
Phase – II (13 days) Includes physical activities, creative arts, Universal human values, Literacy, proficiency
