QuadroSense™ is Hungarian-produced special fence protection system, which provides linear protection. The main part of the system is the control unit, to which vibration sensitive TB cables are connected. The TB cable is a special triboelectric cable, which should be attached with cable tie to the fence to be protected, ideally in a saw- toothed or straight line pattern.

One end of the cable is connected to the control unit, and the other end is terminated by a resistor. The vibration caused by an intruder’s motion generates friction in the cable elements, thereby inducing capacity. Depending on adjustable settings, this capacity change can generate an alarm.

The maximum lenght of the vibration sensitive cable is 250 m. Use of this cable is recommended only on a fence which can transmit vibration to the cable. It is also recommended where an intruder can cause cable vibration directly. For example, it is recommended under the ground to prevent digging, or on top of a concrete wall, where an intruder can cause direct cable vibration while attempting to climb over it.

The starting point of the vibration detection cable can be extended up to 500 m away using DC cable.

The vibration detection cable is passive and doesn’t require an additional power supply. The operating parameters can be individually configured by the connected remote PC software.

The control unit has four alarm relay outputs to transmit an alarm signal, and sends system status information via a RS485 output. The housing of the control unit offers IP65 protection.

TYPICAL INSTALLATION MODES OF THE TB CABLE

QuadroSense™ fence protection system can be integrated into DEVON, the new supervisory system of Umirs Europe.

With this new map-based software we are capable to monitor different type of sensors and detectors, receive alarms and faults, control PTZ cameras or other security devices through the integrated I/O modules.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

The Predix™ detector is a linear barrier based on K-band microwave technology. It is comprised of a transmitter and receiver, which together establish perimeter protection with coverage up to 300 meters. It is very simple to install, yet provides a high level of security performance. The microwave signal is digitally converted and analyzed by a microprocessor using an innovative and efficient algorithm.

The dimensions of its detection zone – due to the K-band operating frequencies – are more stable and narrow at different distances than those of similar microwave detectors operating on X-band frequencies.

The barrier settings can be configured with a free-of charge PC software. Predix is an addressable device up to 255 network address, which means, more device’s configuration can be carried out via one RS485 communication bus. Predix is the first microwave barrier on the market having the ability to operate on 250 different frequencies, thereby preventing any disturbance or interference caused by microwave reflection.

Due to its narrow detection zone (2 meters at the longest 300m range), wide range of settable operating frequencies and accurate signal analysis algorythm, Predix can be deployed in a variety of configurations.

Predix is expressly designed to work in all weather conditions with continuous round-the-clock operation. The barrier has a wide operating temperature range of -40° C – +65° C, and continues to function efficiently even in conditions of rain (up to 40 mm/ hour) or wind (up to 30 m/s). Predix is recommended for use along the perimeter of buildings, in open space between buildings, on borders, etc.

The microwave barrier can be set via RS-485 protocol with the free-of charge PC software or with the special android tablet.

The Radon MRS detector is a linear barrier based on X-band microwave technology. It comprises a transmitter and a receiver unit, which create a perimeter protection with coverage up to 300 m. It is very simple to install, but it has high security performances. The microwave signal is digitally converted and analyzed by a microprocessor with an efficient and innovative algorithm.

The dimensions of the detection zone vary according to the distance between receiver and transmitter units and according to sensitivity settings. The barrier is able to optimize automatically all the working parameters properly to the environment conditions. The detector has 4 adjustable frequency modulated channel, to prevent any disturbance or interference caused by microwave reflection.

Radon MRS is designed expressly to work in all weather conditions with continuous round-the-clock operation. The barrier has very wide operating temperature range of -40 °C - +65 °C, and continous to function effectly even in conditions of rain (up to 40 mm/hour) or wind (up to 30 m/s).

The transmitter and receiver units are already mounted on adjustable supports to be fixed on a wall or pole.

The Nomad-24 is the portable, fast deployable version of the Predix microwave barrier. This digital microwave barrier, which operates on K-band frequency, can be an ideal solution for creating temporary area protection around military vehicles, military camps, construction sites, mobile platforms.

The Nomad-24 set consist of a microwave barrier (transmitter and receiver unit) plus a control unit, among which a radio transmission system provides the constant communication. In standard operation the devices are powered from their own batteries, but there is a possibility to connect power via cables. The maximum distance between the transmitter and receiver unit of the microwave barrier can be 200 m.

The signal transmission module, which is built in the receiver unit, can send the alarms to the control unit from a maximum 1000 m distance (with directional antenna the range can be extended to 10 km). The control unit can supervise 3 pair microwave barriers. Beside the normal alarms, we can receive information about the battery statuses in case of low voltage.

Thanks to the K-band microwave emission, the detection zone of the device is much narrower, than the X-band microwave sensors, hence it requires smaller clear area. Because of the innovative digital signal processing algorithm and the 250 different frequency channels, the possibility of false alarms caused by interference between multiple detectors on one site in nearly zero.

Due to the narrow detection zone (1,6 m at the longest 200 m range), wide range of settable operating frequencies and the accurate signal processing, the barrier can be deployed in a variety of configurations.

Panthera is a professional dual technology barrier, which means it combines the active infrared and microwave technologies. Devon product series is an off-line map-based supervisory system, which can be used to monitor different type of sensors and devices, as receiving alarms and faults, controlling PTZ cameras or other security devices through the inputs and outputs of the integrated I/O modules.

The Devon Monitoring supervisory software can manage maximum 255 Devon RS or Devon LAN I/O modules, which can be connected through RS485 or ethernet interfaces. Both I/O modules have 8 inputs and 8 digital outputs, thanks to that large number of sensors can be monitored or controlled.

Different kind of pictures or drawings can be implemented and used as a map in the software and no internet connection required for this purpose for the server PC. This means the threats of the system is significantly reduced.

The system is user and installer-friendly at the same time. The configuration of the system can be made easily and fast, it has a simple and easy to use interface and every required information can be reached with a few clicks.

The software records every system events, such as user activities, system status, inputs and outputs, I/O module status, alarm zones, etc. The log has a useful search function, that helps with the aid of filters to reduce the searching time of the desired events. These informations can be exported from the log.

During user creation process different authorities can be assigned to operators, so the system differentiate administrator and normal user rights.

Devon series can be an ideal solution to provide local supervision for small and medium size industrial objects.
