How to use puppets in the classroom.
1. Use the puppet to get the students attention.2. Have the puppet read a story.3. Let the puppet just talk to the students.4. Sometimes the puppet will get the students
attention even when you can’t.5. Sometimes the puppet can say things that the
teacher can’t say.6. Sometimes the kids will talk to the puppet
when they won’t talk to you.7. The students will hug the puppet before they will
think of hugging you.8. Introduce the puppet to the students as a special
guest that will only come out if they are quiet.9. After you put the puppet away explain to the students
that the puppet is sleeping.10. The students can use the puppets to do a
presentation from behind a curtain instead of infront of their peers.
