December• Research and apply for scholarships

• Take or re-take the SAT and/or ACT

January• Meet admission, scholarship, and FAFSA/WASFA deadlines

• Send in your updated official transcripts and test scores (if requested)

February• Check the mail for your acceptance letters

• Register for admitted student events at your top college choices

March• Review financial aid and scholarships offered from each university

• Talk to your admission counselor

• Narrow down your top choices—look for the best academic, social, and financial fit

April• Choose your university and submit your deposit

• Register for housing and orientation—the earlier the better!

May• Study for finals, and rock your AP, IB, and CLEP tests

• Prep for graduation and explore what you will need for your future room

June-August• Congratulations! Celebrate your high school graduation with

friends and family

• Receive your housing assignment and attend an orientation session

• Prepare for fall move-in and welcome week events
