At WSU, pay a $200 tuition deposit to confirm your spot by May 1. After paying your deposit, you can sign up for on-campus housing and new student orientation. admitted.wsu.edu

• Submit college admission and scholarship applications
October• The FAFSA* and WASFA** open in October. Apply early!
• Attend college visit event days
• If you haven't already, take the SAT and/or ACT
November• Submit required application materials (transcripts, test scores, etc.)
• Contact an admission counselor at each university
December• Research and apply for scholarships
• Take or re-take the SAT and/or ACT
• December could be your last chance to meet priority deadlines
January• Meet admission, scholarship, and FAFSA/WASFA deadlines
• Send in your updated official transcripts and test scores (if requested)
February• Check the mail for your acceptance letters
• Register for admitted student events at your top college choices
March• Review financial aid and scholarships offered from each university
• Talk to your admission counselor
• Narrow down your top choices—look for the best academic, social, and financial fit
April• Choose your university and submit your deposit
• Register for housing and orientation—the earlier the better!
May• Study for finals, and rock your AP, IB, and CLEP tests
• Prep for graduation and explore what you will need for your future room
June-August• Congratulations! Celebrate your high school graduation with
friends and family
• Receive your housing assignment and attend an orientation session
• Prepare for fall move-in and welcome week events
