2015 HIGHLIGHTS
In June, Pueblo Arts Alliance purchased a 16,000 square foot property at 107 S Grand Avenue and 401 City
Center Drive. This multi-use studio and retail space enables affordable opportunities for an artistic and
business infusion of 22 new creative insudtries. The Arts Alliance office is now located in this facility.
There are 723 creative occupation jobs in the Pueblo Creative Corridor with earnings of $29.3M a gain of
$1.1M over 2013. There was an increase of 66% in state arts agency grant funding to non-profit arts
organizations in the Creative Corridor.
Artisan’s Series continued to connect and highlight the diversity of creative industry in the Pueblo Creative
Corridor. The 2015 Artisan’s Series included, “Floats and Aerialists,” “Brews and Ballet,” and “Salsa con Salsa.”

PUEBLO CREATIVE CORRIDOR RESULTS
The Creative Corridor is a state certified Creative District. Focused around the three historic city centers
of Pueblo: Downtown Main Street, Union Avenue Historic District and the Mesa Junction. Each retains
its uniqueness while collaborating for maximum effectiveness. The Creative Corridor was formed with a
partnership of the Pueblo Arts Alliance, Pueblo Urban Renewal Authority (PURA), and City of Pueblo to
attract artists, creative entrepreneurs and visitors as a strategy to infuse new energy and innovation and
enhance the economic and civic capital of the community. The Pueblo Arts Alliance is the administrator
of the Corridor and is responsible for facilitating meetings, communicating with the Corridor
volunteers, strategic planning, meeting state requirements for technical support, data collection and
reporting. The Creative District program through the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade is focused
on the creation of more opportunities for the Creative Industry Sector.
The 2014 creative industry results for the Pueblo Creative Corridor show the following top industry earners:

Our outdoor performances continue to be a “living commercial” for the arts in Pueblo.
